Visited late Friday afternoon for a snack. The place wasn't so busy with just two tables occupied, although two more patrons visited within the half hour. The staff were friendly and I soon placed my order. The deep fried gyoza were pretty good. Comparatively good value for money. The house sake was inexpensive and acceptable too. Observing the offerings other diners had picked the presentation looked good. Facilities were well maintained and clean.

Kibo, on Parliament St., is one of the few small Japanese restaurants that offers, true, one of my favourite dishes, but also one of the best Japanese dishes, in my opinion...Chirashi Don...simplicity in perfection...the staff, kitchen, also as waiting staff, add charm to it...they communicate, recognize the regular guest, even though I visited 5-6 times now ...how should I say it...a small, but perfect symphony in ones mouth, makes you close your eyes, and just simply enjoy the taste...Oh, and KIBO's salad dressing, is a BOMB!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Sushi Experience That Blows Your Mind! I can’t believe I wasted so much time going to other places when Kibo Sushi on Parliament was right here all along! If you’re looking for insanely fresh sushi, massive portions, and top-tier service, STOP searching—this is THE place. Sushi? Fresh. Like, melt-in-your-mouth fresh. Portions? Generous! No tiny, overpriced rolls here. Service? So welcoming, so friendly, you’ll feel like family. Cleanliness? Spotless! The whole place is bright, wide, and immaculate. Compared to other spots (we used to go to the one on Sherbourne), this location is on a whole different level. The quality, the atmosphere, the vibes—it’s all PERFECT. If you love sushi, don’t make my mistake—come here ASAP! You’ll thank me later. #KiboSushi #BestSushiToronto #HiddenGem #FoodieApproved

The ambience was good, the service was really fast, and the food tasted so good! Kibo’s sushi always tastes very fresh and flavourful. It was my first time trying yam sushi and I was blown away. I highly recommend :)

Yes, Kibo is a chain but, I 100% believe this is the best place to order from. Everything is consistently fresh. Sushi is 10/10. Atmosphere could be better but, service is good.

We had a small home party and ordered bossam along with a sushi set from Kibosushi. Even though it was delivery, everything was so fresh and incredibly delicious! Everyone kept asking where we ordered from — they were that impressed. It was such a satisfying dinner, and I’ll definitely be ordering again next time. Thank you for making such amazing food!

I visit 2-3 times a week. The sushi and maki are really delicious. The price is also reasonable. The staff are also friendly. I purchased a gift card from Kibo Cabbage Town. I gave Kibo gift cards to my friends and they really enjoyed it. I recommend the daily special menu, Spicy Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and Green Dragon.
